Verify with your Basepair account manager that you are a host admin for your portal
Select Coupons from the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the software or go to https://app.basepairtech.com/coupons/
Hit the “New” button in the top right corner to create a new coupon which will open the following menu
Give the Coupon a name for you to refer to internally
Select the Type of Coupon you want to generate (the Type of Coupon determines the number of samples included in the Coupon. If the right Type does not exist, skip down to step 9)
Create your own Code that you will share with the customer or hit the Suggest code link to have the software suggest one for you
You have the option to give the Code an expiration date, or if you want the Code to be able to be used more than once, you can increase the expiration limit
Leave the status as active and hit the Save button
Creating a new Coupon Type
If you need to create a new Type of coupon with a different number of samples, follow these steps
Select Coupons from the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the software or go to https://app.basepairtech.com/coupons/
Select the Types button in the top right
Hit the New button in the top right of the new page to create a new Type of coupon which will open the following menu
Give the Coupon Type a Name that will allow you to remember the number of samples included in the Coupon
Enter the number of Free Samples that the Coupon should include
Do not select the Public checkbox
Hit the Save button
Return to step 2 to create a Coupon code that you can share with your customers for the correct number of samples
